Two recent events in the past weeks show how “we the people” are being willfully ignored by the courts as well as the politicians. The last entry of this column described how the Supreme Court fraudulently denied the GOP challenge to suspected false voter registrations by ACORN in the State of Ohio. The flawed reasoning in that case was that the GOP had no standing to bring about the challenge, as if the Republican Party doesn’t represent a portion of the voters. This time, the Court again ignored the will of the people by denying Philadelphia Attorney Phillip Berg any standing in his lawsuit to have Senator Barack Obama produce his birth certificate.

This additional case of the Court rejecting the right of the people to know who it is they are voting for is, like the previous case, a denial to the people of their basic rights. The last time it was voter registration fraud, and this time it may be outright fraud as the Constitution calls for any President to be a natural born citizen of the United States.

Simply because an individual like Mr. Berg brings forth an issue for the rest of the people, who have many unanswered questions about Mr. Obama’s actual birthplace and citizenship, cannot be explained away by the Court with the no standing argument. By that logic, every one of us as an individual would have to bring lawsuits for every challenge we might have to aspects of the political process.

Unfortunately, the politicization of the entire court system, from the Supreme Court right down to your local court, is slowly but surely stealing from us the basic right to petition the government for a redress of grievances. The most outrageous aspect of this theft is that the Supreme Court has, in the past, ruled that lobbyists have the right to lobby lawmakers under this Constitutional guarantee. We the people however, cannot challenge candidates and state governing bodies to make sure that our elections are fair and honest!

These actions by the Supreme Court bring a total discrediting of any decisions made by the Justices, and they should all be impeached. As you know, that will not happen, as the two corrupt major parties like it this way. They can use the political court to avoid having to take responsibility for their actions and votes in the halls of congress. The two parties now have accrued so much power with their control of the courts as to threaten the very existence of freedom and self-government. At any time, they may simply clamp down on dissent and the people will have no recourse. Once at that point, there will be no way to stop the two parties from exercising total control of every aspect of our lives and of the freedoms we received as our birthright!

The second major theft of our rights belongs to none other than the corrupt Mayor of New York, Michael Bloomberg. This is the man who abandoned the Democrat Party to run for Mayor of NY because he felt at the time that the political climate favored a Republican. After seeing the handwriting on the wall from the 2006 election results that put the Democrats in power in Congress, the unprincipled Mr. Bloomberg bolted the GOP and became an Independent (corrupting that good title much to the sorrow of true Independents like myself).

Mayor Bloomberg however, besides being a disloyal, self seeking, hypocrite, also possesses one of the largest egos of any politician. This corrupt individual has cleverly scammed the people of New York City out of their legally voted for and instituted term limits on the Mayor and the City Council. By persuading the City Council to over-rule the will of the people, the Mayor has cleared the way for himself (and not co-incidentally, the very same city council members) to run for a third term as Mayor, claiming how the tough economic times and the impact on Wall Street can only be addressed by him.

It is becoming beyond believable how the rights that the Founding Fathers risked their lives, the fortunes, and their sacred honor for are being so easily usurped by the elites who control the two major parties, the mainstream media, the courts, the colleges, universities and our local schools. The Declaration of Independence explained to the world the grievances of the founders and laid before all men the truth of our inalienable rights, derived from our Creator God, and how they were not negotiable or available for trade off.

Governments are instituted among men to provide for an orderly society, and are to be strictly limited as to what they can do. Our precious Constitution serves to protect those rights for every generation of Americans regardless of what the rest of the world wishes to do. With utter disdain and willful disregard of the principles laid out in the Declaration ( the spirit of the law) and the Constitution (the letter of the law), the elites who now control and run America as their own little fiefdom, are stealing from us every day, more and more freedom!

The most egregious part of this sad story is that so many of us are willing to stand by and allow the theft to continue. The two major parties have perfected the scam of having us vote the lesser of two evils each election. They control the election process through the Federal Election Commission. They gerrymander local congressional districts to keep out independents and third parties. They have erected severe obstacles to getting on the ballots. They ignore the call by the people for term limits or openly defy such laws as we see in the case of the corrupt Mayor of New York, Michael Bloomberg. Additionally, they run the Presidential Debate Commission, an unprecedented control of the people’s access to the candidates.

The questions before all of us are quite simple really. How much longer will we allow these elites to steal our inheritance? How many more elections will there be where we once again give these elites more power? How much more of the future that we are passing on to our children will be one with bigger government, declining personal freedoms, and more power to the internationalist cabal that hates America. How many more times will we stand by while the elites weaken our military, destroy our pre-eminent educational system, squander our resources, and mortgage the future with a national debt that now exceeds $10 trillion?

What we are seeing is the fulfillment of Einstein’s definition of insanity: Doing the same thing over and over, expecting a different result. We now have an out of control, insane government that we elected. How insane is it to once again vote for these same two parties, because the truth is, the individuals who get elected are only a representation of the power that resides in the two parties?

As long as we continue to vote for these two major parties, we remain complicit in their destruction of the American way of life that is our inheritance of inalienable God given rights. If you vote for any of these people, you must question your own dedication to those rights and what it is you really want for your own children and grandchildren. When you arrive in that voting booth, you will record your answer. Though no one else will know what you have done, you will! What are you going to do?
