At least 20 people were killed when the bomber struck after opposition leader Mrs Bhutto addressed a political rally, witnesses said.
It has been reported that Mrs Bhutto was shot in the neck and the chest before the bomber blew himself up.

“This assassination is the most serious setback for democracy in Pakistan,” said Rasul Baksh Rais, a political scientist at Lahore’s University of Management Sciences. “It shows extremists are powerful enough to disrupt the democratic process. Musharraf’s major concern now will be to maintain law and order and make sure this does not turn into a major movement against him.”

Wait until we’ve used all the fossil fuels available to us. Then you can brag about one culture being better than the other. Different cultures are good at different things.
Our American culture excels at consuming resources. We’re also quite good at organizing military/industrial activity. The traditional Aborigine’s on the other hand are quite adept at living a life that has a low-impact on the planet and leaves the earth in good shape for the next generation.
Which is better depends on your definition of “better”.

I’m reading your post #49 and trying to understand it. The Aborigine surely can’t be considered on the same plane as the Western Man. What sets man apart from the rest of the animals is the brain power. Dogs run faster than man. Fish swim better. Birds can fly, man can’t. But man has the mind with its capabilities. And when you look at the races of man, some races have more “brainpower” than others, though that’s not the entire picture. But the Aborigine is inferior to Western man. It’s clear. And conclusions can be drawn, in general, with exceptions, among the races. And on a macro level, these differences have consequences for the society at large!
