Black America starting to embrace Obama??????

Why is Obama not ahead of Hillary with Black voters?

WASHINGTON (CNN) — In recent months, ABC News-Washington Post polls showed Sen. Hillary Clinton running 40 points higher than Sen. Barack Obama among blacks voters asked to name their preference in the Democratic primary.

But in Wednesday editions, the Washington Post reported a poll that has Obama leading Clinton by 11 points among black voters — 44 percent to 33 percent. Obama is the Senate’s only black member and has been campaigning across the country for the last couple of months. Clinton is his chief rival for the 2008 presidential nomination

That change represents a stunning 24-point swing, but does it mean the black community has embraced the Illinois Democrat as its candidate?

Not exactly.

This is what I got out of the article:
Should the first black president be one who was raised in a more American sense without the heavy influence of segregation and discrimination in his background, as a sort of first generation genuine American black, or should the first black president be one who suffered through those tribulations in recent decades past to understand the effects of racism on people?

I think it would do wonders for racial equality to have a more American president than a “victim” president, so he could serve as the perfect role model for what all blacks can achieve in America without special assistance from the government. A “victim” president would try to harness the power of the state to give blacks what he thinks they deserve as victims, without them having to work too hard for it, which only encourages them to expect an easier road than the rest of the population. Kind of like how illegal immigrants are being given more access to certain privileges or services than America’s own citizens.

    Chris,
I will wager a large sum of money that your response has fallen upon many a deaf ear, or blind eye.

Bill Clinton was very popular among Black voters and some of that is rubbing off on Hillary. But, as with most of her support, it won’t last.

It’s obviously because Obama has too high of a credit score to be considered legitimately black.

Indeed - he’s not really black at all, and hasn’t done a single thing for black people in his entire life. The only reason he’s saying he’s black is because the madrassa he went to as a child programmed him to do so on account of the post-prison Islam block of the American black community, which is anywhere from 50%-70% of all blacks in the country today.

Thank the Lord for FoxNews, because I really did think that Obama WAS black for a long time, but all of these facts right here tell a different story.

  5. Al Swearengen Says:

Oh - - - just heard that to combat this “legitimately black” roadblock in his campaign, Obama has just announced he is leaving his wife and children, purchasing an unregistered handgun and rounding up cash for some studio time…”wait till yall hear my demo”

Does not anyone here understand this “Obama canidacy” is manufactured by the elites? They are testing us to see how brain dead we truly are. They will keep pushing and pushing until we are nothing more that sleep walking zombies!

  7. Al Swearengen Says:

You said it Hugh - - - he’s only running for that reason right there. It’s all a big joke on us. I’m just glad that somebody else gets it!

  8. Bill Says:

    Al
I’m being up front here: I like Obama more than Hillary. And who else do the Dems. have?
