Exploratory Committee formed by former Republican Georgia Congressman Bob Barr who will seek the nomination of the Libertarian Party:
Is it possible the Libertarians will finally offer a prominent, well respected candidate this year? A Barr candidacy gives the ‘3rd’ party a real shot of getting 10%+ for the first time. He would draw heavily from the GOP’s fiscal conservative base and NRA members rendering McCain’s candidacy as dead as someone who has the skinny on either Clinton.
