Bush hit over jobs for illegal workers

Does anyone trust Bush on immigration?

WT-If President Bush is serious about getting tough on U.S. employers who hire illegal aliens, he can start with his own administration, which employs thousands of unauthorized workers, says the top Republican on the House immigration subcommittee.

A 2006 audit showed federal, state and local governments are among the biggest employers of the half-million persons in the U.S. illegally using “non-work” Social Security numbers — numbers issued legally, but with specific instructions that the holders are not authorized to work in the U.S.

“Let’s clean up our own house, let’s especially clean up the federal employment of all those working for the federal government,” said Rep. Steve King, Iowa Republican and ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee’s immigration subcommittee.

Yes what? You trust Bush on immigration? f.y.i. REAL conservatives don’t trust any legislation, especially when it’s as thick as a phone book and is “comprehensive”. Because in the REAL world comprehensive legislation simply doesn’t work.
Every law enacted by these CRETINS has reverberations in the real world. “COMPREHENSIVE” anything is like a PSUNAMI OF CRAPOLA!!!
And the elitists wonder why our economy is on the skids. Bunch of JACKASSES!!!!!

Yes, I trust the Bush administration on immigration reform. His record shows the biggest increase in border security since 1986…more money spent on control than any of his predecessors, more border agents added, Nat’l Guard deployment to the border…what part of this record do you not get Bill?

On top of all that, Bush understands the need for a common sense approach to addressing all those illegals that entered prior to him taking office (more in the last 5 years of the 90s than any time in our history). The Kansas court ruling proves just how bad we need comprehensive reform while getting the border secured.

    Bart,

Why do you have so much blind loyalty to Bush?

  4. Bill says:

    bb
George Bush is a globalist open borders neocon. He’s for the North American Union and the NAFTA Superhighway. You obviously didn’t take the time to read the whole bill which was defeated just like many of the politicians. Bush has nothing to do with the fact that we’ve increased border security. He’s simply reacting to the “blowback” caused by his “one world” agenda.

  5. bb says:

    John,

It is not ‘blind loyalty’ to get facts then form an opinion based on those facts. It cannot be disputed that more illegals entered this country over the last 5 years of BC than anytime in history.

It cannot be disputed that Bush has done more to secure the border than any of his predecessors since adoption of the amnesty bill in ‘86.

Thus the question to you John, why do you ignore facts about the current president, especially since he is doing exactly what you want…secure the borders first.

    Bill,

Gloablism is good. NAFTA is good. There is no NAU.

Stop living in a conspiratorial fantasy world.

  7. David O'Rear says:

    Once again, it happened.
    Very rare, but deserves mention:

    I agree with bb:

Gloablism is good. NAFTA is good. There is no NAU.

Stop living in a conspiratorial fantasy world.

    Scary.

  8. Bill says:

You say tomato I say tomato
You say Partnership I say Union
You say agreement I say treaty.

If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck it’s probably a duck. You two are typical. Why should people give you guys any credibility when you’ve both demonstrated you have no concern whatsoever to our loss of sovereignty as a nation?

  9. Bill says:

    re:
“Gloablism is good. NAFTA is good. There is no NAU.”

Looks like some type of hypnotic mantra. Maybe we should call you two the stepford wifes.

  10. Bill says:

I guess it depends on what your definition of “is” is.

  11. Bill says:

Here’s a little “primer” for anybody who doesn’t know about the globalist’s plans to merge the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Frankly I think this STINKS OUT LOUD!!!!
