Clinton Staff Planted Question at Forum

TH-An aide for Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton gave a Grinnell College student a question to ask the Democratic presidential candidate during a forum this week in central Iowa.
That the question had been planted by the campaign was not mentioned at the event.
“This is not standard policy and will not be repeated again,” the campaign said in a statement issued Friday night. Clinton herself did not know when she called on the student that the question had been suggested by one of her staff, the campaign said.
This is BUSH like. And it shouldn’t be done by anyone.

She’s a disgrace. What a pathetic showing for her as a candidate and as a senator.
If she wins the nomination, I’m voting for a 3rd party candidate. Without Hagel in the mix, I can’t vote for any of these Republicans.
So I guess I’m holding out hope for Obama or Edwards at this point. If Edwards takes Iowa and Obama wins in New Hampshire, the dream ticket may be a posibility, w/ those two running together for the WH in ‘08.
I’ll probably get in a fair amount of HOT WATER for these thoughts, but what the hey, I’m a woman, a woman without a 9 to 5 job. I make my money with my writing skills selling work at home info, a few say I’m good at it, but certainly not everyone; and from time to time I catch flak.
What I look for in a politician and what I attempt to accomplish in my own life, is live up to my word, and that goes double for when I’m doing work for a client (a website or book) or when I tell someone I’ll help them do something “next saturday”. While it is often something I don’t necessarily want to do that day , and other opportunities might be more fun, I remember I have given my pledge and I’ll do my best to stay true to my word.
Which is not say there are not times when daily life deemed that I turn left (not a political statment) when initially I thought the first was was in order. However, this only occured at the prodding of unforseen situations, not because I’ve decided on a different path for profit, be it financial or political.
While I fully expect to find a woman in the Oval Office one day, I have doubts that Hillary is not the woman for the the high office. Sure the woman can “talk the talk”, but I fear that her inner being may not what we want in the Oval office, be it male or female.
It is not easy in these times to find a person we can have faith in, a candidate we can really get behind and encourage with our money, time and personal support. Last night I heard a talk show as Janet Huckabee recounted with love and admiration concerning her “High School Sweetheart”, it brought a tear to my eye when I learned how her husband stayed with her through illness.
My mother left this life recently, and during the last years of her life, I was her care giver. Perhaps that make me more sensitive to a person who has done the same… perhaps. Still, Mike Huckabee is a person I’ll follow with reflection. He doesn’t necessarily have my support, but he has my attention.

I do not have enough funding from my federal loans to complete this school year. I’ve been told I can take my Spring semester in the Fall but that will put me behind in my nursing program. Кофе со льдом по-итальянски
