Condi goes too far???
Do you think Condi Rice was wrong to compare Saddam to Hitler? Do you agree with her that Iraq parallels WW II?
MSN-Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice paralleled World War II with the state of Iraq when discussing what would happen if Congress were to revise the Iraq authorization:
We already know about her suggestion that the president could just ignore whatever congressional Democrats do about Iraq
Just ignore Congress.
We know how that game always turns out. Ask President Nixon. Ask President Andrew Johnson.
Or ask Vice President Dick Cheney, who utterly contradicted Secretary Rice on Monday when he warned President Pervez Musharraf of Pakistan about what those mean congressional Democrats could do to his foreign aid.

Condi is a joke. Frankly, I don’t know why most people don’t just laugh when the Bush adminstration says anything. They just don’t have any credibility.

Hitler invaded several countries and systematically committed genocide on thousands of Jews.
Saddam invaded Kuwait and used chemical weapons on Kurds, Shiites and Iranians in the 80s.
When Hitler was stopped, it was a combined effort headed up by Russia, US and British forces. We discovered his concentration camps, turned Dresden into rubble and allowed those occupied by German forces to reclaim what was theirs.
When Saddam was overthrown, it was mainly a US effort, and years later now, the only remaining credibility in terms of answering ‘why’ are his gaming of the Oil for Food program (which many other nations were complicit in) and his noncompliance with UN sanctions.
Put them side by side and the comparison Condi makes is not only ridiculous, but an insult !

The thing about it is when they call an Arab leader the next Adolph Hitler, it might be like paying them a compliment. They usually don’t seem to shrink away into obscurity after they get the “Hitler” tag.

For all we know the leaders sit around some big screen TV in an underground facility watching CNN to see who’s the next Hitler. “Muhammed al aklakaka, come on down, you’re the next Adolf Hitler”
