Conyers: ‘We’re closing in on Rove’
Is Rove going down?
Politico-Just off the House floor today, the Crypt overheard House Judiciary Committee Chairman John Conyers tell two other people: “We’re closing in on Rove. Someone’s got to kick his ass.”
Asked a few minutes later for a more official explanation, Conyers told us that Rove has a week to appear before his committee. If he doesn’t, said Conyers, “We’ll do what any self-respecting committee would do. We’d hold him in contempt. Either that or go and have him arrested.”
Conyers said the committee wants Rove to testify about his role in the imprisonment of former Alabama Gov. Don Siegelman, among other things.
“We want him for so many things, it’s hard to keep track,” Conyers said.

Get em John…no worries about the economy, war or over-sized big nanny govt., let’s bust the ‘Architect’…dems are absolutely the dumbest, most idiotic group on the planet.

Rove is a neocon pretender. Liars and cheats. Follow the “leader” BS. Bellicose judgemental, holier than thou, conceited collective morons who piss on the torch of freedom. May they all rot in hell.

John,
For what?
Do you think Congress should be wasting time on a political witch hunt? Maybe this explains their lowest favorable rating in history!!
May 16th, 2008 at 2:25 pm
Congress’ low rating is caused by its failure to pull our troops out of Iraq. It’s why the voters handed congress over to the Democrats, but they’ve failed to address that mandate.

I think Rove did some bad things!
May 16th, 2008 at 2:43 pm
What John? Why not ask him if he still beats his wife.
Do you think he did ‘bad things’ on a level that requires Congress to do an investigation?

The Gov. Don Siegelman situation looks bad but I am not a lawyer. If he goes down it be all the issues in the AG office in my opinion.

Judging by the way he looks Rove probably only has one testicle.

I already supplied ample evidence on this blog regarding Siegelman who WAS FOUND GUILTY by an independent jury of his peers on multiple counts of corruption.
Why do you defend the guilty while trying to impugn the innocent John? Just like a bleeding heart liberal!

Any objective person can see that case was not right.

John,
Your definition of objective is subjective.
