Caroline, you are morally right. Sgt.Mac.& BB accuse you and the Liberals of wanting to lose the war (i.e. more dead American troops), however,they are fighting guilt. Their goal is to transfer their guilt for leading our troops into the valley of death and dismemberment to the ones who opposed the failed war from the start. They are feeling great shame, they are living in a shadow,(Jung) not us.

Mac just reinforced what you were saying. They just call anyone who opposes them “anti american” or some other name. It’s a tacit admission of their complete failure. After all, who’s afraid of criticism when you’re a success? Only failures and cowards fear someone else pointing out their shortcomings.

Once again caroline wins the “no brainer” award of the post, with this gem: Why would anyone trust the Bush administration . . . ?
