George Bush Leaks identity of CIA agent
McClellan blames Bush for CIA leak deceit
Former spokesman says both president and vice president involved
MSN-Former White House press secretary Scott McClellan blames President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney for efforts to mislead the public about the role of White House aides in leaking the identity of a CIA operative.
In an excerpt from his forthcoming book, McClellan recount the 2003 news conference in which he told reporters that aides Karl Rove and I. Lewis “Scooter” Libby were “not involved” in the leak involving operative Valerie Plame.
“There was one problem. It was not true,” McClellan writes, according to a brief excerpt released Monday. “I had unknowingly passed along false information. And five of the highest-ranking officials in the administration were involved in my doing so: Rove, Libby, the vice president, the president’s chief of staff and the president himself.”

[...] Whatâ??s driving you crazy? â?? Keeping an eye on that crazy world out there placed an observative post today on George Bush Leaks identity of CIA agent [...]
Yet, none dare call it treason.
I think Bush and Cheney should resign!
I think Bush, Cheney, et al should be impeached.
John, you are so easy. Don’t you realize if we start holding these scum accountable, perhaps more of them might start towing the line, rather than commiting their crimes?!
Hugh
I do think if true Bush and Cheney should be forced out. Lawmakers should hold hearings and make Bush and Cheney testify.
John, that’s more like it – you’re moving in the right direction.
And related, I just posted an audio link to the earlier thread on th Liberty Dollar raid by the Feds. This is just another example of our out of control government. These corrupt officials need to be held accountable.
I’m making it easy – here’s that audio link. Scroll over to the 31:00 minute mark for the discussion on the fed raid of a lawful organization.

What a bogus headline. Valerie Plame was a desk jockey working for over 5 years in the same office. She tried to play political games with professional politicians and lost.
A publisher releases one salacious statement from a book not due in stores for six months, and you take it as gospel?
If this rises to the level of impeachment, then there will never be another president able to fulfill his/her time in office.
Bart
You have no respect for the CIA!
We can always count on people like bb to turn people away from the Republican party.
John,
Richard Armitage leaked the identity of a desk jockey who happened to work for the CIA. This desk jockey along with her husband attempted to play politics and got spanked…big f’n deal.
George Bush did not call Bob Novak so your headline is bogus as usual. Scott McClellan is trying to buy back his reputation…don’t blame him, but it is a bit premature to rely upon one statement out of a book that is not yet complete as grounds for impeachment hearings.
Bart
WOW if this was Clinton you would call for her head!
Rep. Waxman should call Scott McClellan to Testify under oath as soon as congress reconvenes.
I’m with bb, it’s the prerogative of our commander in chief to ruin the professional careers of our civil servants. He owns them, he can do with them as he sees fit.
“She tried to play political games with professional politicians and lost.”
Yep, that’s why I respect the hell out of “professional politicians”. They can hide the truth and then ruin those who dissent. God Bless America! Long live the Republican party!
Bush/Cheney ‘08!
If this were Clinton, McClellan would not be alive to write the book.
mcklellan says i unknowingly despensed that information. well how does he knowingly it now?
