Mac, I hate to have to do this, but I must disagree with you. You talked about The Rev.s and how they “they’ve betrayed their own people.” I’ve got to say that those people are my people too. I’m white, but if they are Americans, then they are my people. I understand your point and the reason that you used the termonology; but, as long as black people hyphenate their ethinicity (African-American) and refer to other blacks as “their people” then the lines of division will never go away.

This is one of the beauties of capitalism and conservatism. Race doesn’t matter. The capitalist doesn’t care what color my skin is, only if I can help to make him money or not. Conservativism doesn’t care about skin color, just about the American Dream.

Conservatives should never weaken this irreproachable aspects just to court minorites, because in conservatism, there are no minorities based on skin color.

You don’t count, but your dollars do. Just the way the Lord planned it to be…

For me, I’m an American and I’m very offended, but I (read Americans) don’t count any more. The elites have correctly assessed the Americans are sleeping and won’t raise hell about anything they wish to put on us. Hate to be pessimistic here, but so much is going on and I see so little outrage. We very well are doomed. Wish the good Lord had decided for more of us to be aware and resistant, but who am I to understand why we are the way we are.

Minorities fail to leave the dem plantation

It’s a shame the minority community continues to buy-in to the socialist left-wing agenda.

Fortunately, there are some who understand the vision of the founders – Herman Cain, Walter Willimas, Thomas Sowell, Deroy Murdock, Clarence Thomas, Condoleeza Rice, and many, many more. These people are successful because of hard work and their personal commitment to the American dream – they rely on themselves rather than government.

As long as the demo-gogues keep minorities feeding at the government trough, they’ll continue to be “left” behind. This Country was founded on the principle of personal responsibility and individual achievment. The left has convinced minorities that government, rather than the individual is responsible. That is the real pity.

The Al Sharptons, Jesse Jacksons, and Jeremiah Wrights of this world are the ones who should be ashamed – they’ve betrayed their own people.

There’s also the enablers like Hillary and Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, John McCain, and the leftists in BOTH houses of congress. These people need a refresher course on the Constitution of the United States.
