Jack Sutton is a class guy who loves his Country, family, friends and neighbors. God Bless Jack and his family!

PV-I am sad to report that lifelong Cobb Countian and Republican Jack Sutton has been diagonosed with acute leukemia. His doctor gives him 1-2 weeks to live.

Jack has spent the last 5 years as Special Assistant to Congressman Phil Gingrey. Jack is married and he and his wife Fran have 3 children, 6 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.

He is spending time at home under “home hospice care.” I spoke with Fran this evening to get the update that his house is overflowing with relatives visiting and sitting with him. She said that he is at peace with God and is in good spirits. There is one request that Jack has for everyone and that is to pray that God will help him make it to his 76th birthday party on October 14th.

I myself have known Jack since 2001, and I’ve always known him to be a good, honest man, and I will miss seeing and talking to him.

Fran told me to tell you to NOT send any live flowers of any kind. Jack’s white-blood cell count is very low and there are organisms in live flowers that healthy people are immune from, but that Jack’s immune system is so depressed that he cannot handle it.

If you know Jack, and would like to tell him goodbye, then please write him a note or letter of any length and mail it via the US Postal Service (NOT e-mail as he is in bed and it is very difficult for him to move about). The address to mail it to is:
