Imus Comeback for September?

Do you think Imus should be back on air?

NM-Fired talk show host Don Imus will return to the airwaves in September, according to private investigator Bo Dietl, who was a regular on Imus’ morning show.

Dietl said on an Albany, N.Y., radio show: “I’m not supposed to say, but if he was to be coming back, I would look to September.”

Host Fred Dicker asked if Dietl was referring to a new show on satellite radio, the New York Post’s Page Six column reported. Dietl replied: “Broadcast.”

Imus was fired by CBS Radio and MSNBC in April after he made a disparaging and racially insensitive remark about the Rutgers University women’s basketball team.

Good deal. I hope he is not forced to tone down the rhetoric too much, that is what made his show entertaining.

Why do some people find racism “entertaining” ?

    David,

For the same reason I watch Chris Rock or old Eddie Murphy standup…it is funny. Stop making everything a race issue…sometimes there is no malice intent, just laughing at ourselves sans the PC.
