The difference is that there was absolutely no justification for invading and destroying Iraq, and that the Dubious malAdministration lied to the American people and to Congress to create a justification and in doing so to exploit the tragedy of September 11th for their own twisted political ends.

Lives are wasted in war all the time. To claim otherwise is prove that you’ve had too much kool-aid.

Iraq is no different than any other ill-advised invasion/occupation. The sooner you can admit to the mistake (and loss), the sooner you can save those who are still living.
