Jindal signs chemical castration bill

What do you think?

2TA-Characterizing sex offenders as monsters, Gov. Bobby Jindal signed legislation Wednesday that would force convicted rapists and others to undergo chemical castration.

“I am glad we have taken such strong measures in Louisiana to put a stop to these monsters’ brutal acts,” the governor said in a prepared statement.

Jindal signed Senate Bill 144 into law on the day that the U.S. Supreme Court ruled Louisiana cannot execute people who rape children under the age of 12.

The governor blasted the high court’s decision.

    Good for Bobby.

What a disgrace that the liberal Supreme 5 decided to over turn the rape execution law. I wonder which Founder those 5 referenced when they determined it is unconstitutional to kill scumbags that rape little kids? Time for a little of that Cajun voodoo justice.

    I agree

So, the Guv’nor still thinks rape is a sexual crime, eh?

    Sheesh.

One point that was raised was the posibility that executing child rapists might cause the rapists to kill the child as well raping them (eliminate the witness).

Also, they didn’t want to discourage young children from reporting family members or friends because the children thought that the person would be killed. Most little kids probably don’t wish death on people (I hope), even people that hurt them.

Anyway, some points to ponder. I have no problem with the state executing a known child rapist, I don’t really believe you can rehabilitate that out of someone.

Even better idea, take the state out of it and just let the family administer equal justice.

To paraphrase the American Solutions oil drilling campaign:
    Shoot Here
    Shoot Now
    Rapist dead
    Pay less
