McCain VP: former HP CEO Carly Fiorina?

That would be pretty funny and very Bush-like. Wasn’t she fired from HP? Anyway, it sounds too close to Ferraro. Sounds like a non-starter.

NBC11: There is a buzz in Republican political circles that John McCain could pick former Hewlett-Packard Chairwoman Carly Fiorina, 53, to be his vice presidential nominee.

NBC11 political analyst Larry Gerston said a potential McCain-Fiorina ticket could inspire Republicans who think the country may be on the “precipice of change.” “A number of Republican leaders are looking for a way to take a rather stodgy candidacy and bring some life to it,” said NBC11 political analyst Larry Gerston. “It comes at a time when Democrats have an African-American and a white woman battling each other — while the Republicans have a 71-year-old white male as the presumptive nominee.”

The Wall Street Journal reported earlier this week that former McCain campaign official and current Republican National Committee Deputy Chairman Frank Donatelli refused to rule her out. “I am so impressed with her,” Donatelli said. “We could do a lot worse than Carly.”

I had the misfortune of working for Carly early this decade. She’s a tyrant and a really, really bad manager. I’ve been quite happy with her as a Fox News consultant with the rest of the Fox News consultants who failed in their carrers. Carly took one of America’s great companies and nearly wrecked it.

HP’s books were extra crispy after she got through with them. It has taken Mark Hurd years to put the pieces back together.

After buying a fleet of Gulfstream 550’s at HP in the middle of a recession, I always thought she’d eye Air Force One.

I’m a lifelong Republican. A Carly VP ticket will put the final nail in the Republican Party’s slide over the last 8 years. Hillary or Obama will win in a landslide and Congress will become solidly Democrat.

This is the best decision McCain could make to hand the Democrats an absolute victory in November.

  8. McCain Offers Tax Policies He Once Opposed – washingtonpost.com…

The sheer hypocrisy of the McCain campaign, from Hagee vs. Wright to McCain 2000/2004 vs. McCain 2008 on nearly every substantive issue has been appalling. So, will the media call him out on it? Or will they rather stay on the invite ……
