I only listen to Lou Dobbs – he blasts the hypocritical and treasonous politicians of both party – and they are both corrupt. Listen to Rush or Hannity and they rail agains the Democrats for the very things the Republicans are guilty of. Listen to the lefties and they rail against the Republicans for the very things Democrats are guilty of. I haven’t listened to Savage much, but I believe he criticizes on the basis of the person or deed, not the party affiliation.

Daniel Larison has been doing some great blogging lately. Here he catches Rush Limbaugh out on an astonishingly un-conservative tear. First, a bit from the Limbaugh diatribe:
You know, Republicans are said to be racist and sexist and bigoted and homophobic. The liberal policy, liberal philosophy is to assume bad behavior, bad human behavior. They assume it, they have a condescending look toward people in general. It’s what makes them liberals.
To which Larison responds:
This is a stunning display of both ignorance of the tradition to which he claims to belong and a remarkable display of Limbaugh’s true colours. How far gone do you have to be to think that liberalism holds that people are flawed and imperfect? How frantic must Limbaugh be over the coming November defeat that he cooks up this batch of unusually bizarre philosophical gibberish? Liberals, not conservatives, believe people are flawed? Who is it that thinks people are basically good and not fallen?
It will hardly come as news to anyone here that Limbaugh’s conservatism was never, ever all that terribly similar to Burkean-Kirkian conservatism. It was originally, back in the old days of the early ’90s, a rehashed low-tax, pro-market conservatism that was good on mocking bureaucratic absurdity and Clintonian pretenses but basically superficial and empty.

Michael Savage sure knows how to cut a wrestling Style promo. He needs to take on Mark Levin who is just as vicious and devotes as much energy as Savage does at taking on his fellow talkers.
Limbaugh doesn’t even bother mentioning the competition for the most part. It’s not in his strategy and why would he?
Point John…real slow…take a breath…put away the bong….you have to go back 3 yrs to find this attack against Rush, desperation setting in I guess in your daily effort to go after the most popular radio talk show host in history.

Just admit you are jealous of Rush’s popularity and success…it is obvious. You dig up old shit that is so f’n ridiculous, then cannot even defend what you post….LOL!
So while about 10 people read this site and 1M watch your favorite liberal news network MSNBC, 20M will hear Rush this week. Me thinks Rush is having a bigger, more positive impact on this country than you or Keith Olberman, two guys that aren’t happy unless they are attacking conservatives.
