Nearly 4 in 10 Americans say their views have grown more conservative
Very interesting!
Gallop-Despite the results of the 2008 presidential election, Americans, by a 2-to-1 margin, say their political views in recent years have become more conservative rather than more liberal, 39% to 18%, with 42% saying they have not changed. While independents and Democrats most often say their views haven’t changed, more members of all three major partisan groups indicate that their views have shifted to the right rather than to the left.

yeah, but what are they defining as conservative? Do they now think that George W. Bush was great or what? And 39% isn’t enough to win an election.
What was interesting was conservative fiscal issues did much better than social issues.
Now if the GOP will finally nominate a conservative candidate!
This proves what many of us have been saying for years — stop running from being conservative, start running on conservatism!
Does anyone think Bart is conservative? If so why?
Again. . . . just what IS a conservative now-a-days?
El-Rushbo certainly isn’t. . . he’s a looney.
Mit and Sarah SAY they are, but yet they reach into the liberal bag O tricks to run their states.
Newt is a futurist and a pragmatist
the preachers are hypocrites, who tell us to “turn the other cheek,” that is, until we get slapped, then the plows get beaten back into swords.
If conservatism means a small efficient government, except in rare cases, and necessarily prudent turning of the social wheels, then. . . . There is no one out there.
Cheers !!!

“4 of 10 conservative” — the other 6 are on this website; John, caroline, Lefty, DOR, Jack and the occasional driveby liberal poster.
Bart are you conservative?
John,
Are you paying attention?
