You and I remain a billion miles apart on how we see political realities.

The only candidate I cared about also lost on November 7th. Carol Jackson.

I don’t see a silver lining in the partisan gains across the country.

Those Republican leaders worked long and hard to be the minority party, we should at least let them enjoy it a bit, right?

Truthfully, if the GOP had any interest in doing something other than making the fundamentalists happy, they would have appointted someone like Jodi Rell. She is immensely popular in a blue state, took the reigns from a corrupt GOP governor and managed to keep the governorship republican.

The GOP is the Southern Fundamentalist party. Sonny is the perfect person to head such an organization.
