Paul offers reading list to Giuliani
Do think Rudy will take Ron Paul up on his offer to educate himself on the Middle East?
MSNBC-WASHINGTON – Longshot Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul, on Thursday, gave front-runner Rudy Giuliani a list of foreign-policy books to back up his contention that attacks by Islamic militants are fueled by the U.S. presence in the Middle East.
“I’m giving Mr. Giuliani a reading assignment,” the nine-term Texas congressman said as he stood behind a stack of books that included the report by the commission that examined the attacks on the United States on Sept. 11, 2001.
Giuliani was mayor of New York when Islamic militants slammed two commercial airliners into the World Trade Center, a role that has vaulted him to the front of the Republican presidential pack despite his liberal social positions.
“I don’t think he’s qualified to be president,” Paul said of Giuliani. “If he was to read the book and report back to me and say, ‘I’ve changed my mind,’ I would reconsider.”
one book on the list was “Imperial Hubris,” whose author appeared at the press conference to offer support for Paul.
“Foreign policy is about protecting America,” said author Michael Scheuer, who used to head the CIA’s bin Laden unit. “Our foreign policy is doing the opposite.”
Talk about cajones! Go Ron Go!
And what kind of ijit is Rudy to actually respond to Paul? Nothing like getting a little legitimacy from a frontrunner, for free!
Hey you notice all the online polls have Romney in the lead, usually in the high 20s, and Giuliani down somewhere in the teens? Well these media polls put out by Gallop and the like all have Giuliani on top, in the high 20s, with Romney down under 10%. Wonder why such a discrepancy between the media polls and the internet polls?
I think it is reasonable to think that actions that upset someone will have consequences.
If someone has strong beliefs and feel anger, something is going to happen.

If Romney wins will I be able to legally have two wives?
Will I be able to deduct the second one on my taxes? Romney may not be such a bad candidate after all.

It would be better to have multiple wives in separate houses. Women with money. “Empty nesters” if you will. Dependents are a bad thing generally speaking.
I doubt it.
Dr. Paul’s press conference and suggested reading list for Rudy is a brilliant move.
What most commentators on this story have missed is perhaps bigger and more important news, though. And that is the story about the man who was standing by Dr. Paul’s side at the press conference yesterday.

Normal and sane doesn’t seem to cut the mustard these days with what’s going on. Hence I like to illustrate issues with vids. sometimes. Doesn’t hurt Republicans to reach out and be a little entertaining every now and then either I don’t think. Also there’s symbolism in the vids. for the intelligent and knowledgeable also.
