Republican Ron Paul calls for Bush impeachment!
Do you think President Bush should be impeached over his secret plan to create a borderless country with Mexico and Canada via the North American Union? BTW, this is the second Republican this week to talk about impeaching President Bush.
C-Republican Congressman and Presidential candidate Ron Paul says U.S. President Bush has presided over a system wide doctrine of violating the Constitution, from the Iraq War in the “War on Terrorism” and pursuing a North American Union agenda, without legally required Congressional oversight. Such oversight is legally prescribed by the U.S. Constitution.
During an interview with Alex Jones on the GCN Radio network, Paul had outlined the likely scenario as to how impeachment proceedings would unfold.

That headline is misleading because the article is saying it is because of several things i.e. Iraq

How is my headline misleading?
Republican Ron Paul calls for Bush impeachment!

Oh sorry. I was reading from the article. And no, I haven’t had any margaritas yet

I’d only agree with Mr. Paul if the call for impeachment also calls for the resignation of every senator and representative who voted for the Iraq invasion… dereliction of duty…

Captain_Menace,
Yes, they ALL have to go! Very few exceptions!

I was in favor of Bush being impeached, but now that Ron Paul is pushing for impeachment, I’m against it.

Captain
Whatever. That’s like saying “Don’t arrest any pedophiles unless you can get ‘em all.

My point is that Congress is just as guilty as Bush in regards to the clusterf*ck in Iraq. In fact I think they may be more responsible.
I’m not in favor of impeaching anyone because of the immigration issue. I’d like to see open borders.

captain_menace, re your post #8:
There are people out there that perhaps can help you get your brain functioning again (re your affinity for open borders). But if you feel that way at this eleventh hour, it’s pretty doubtful your brain can be fixed!

captain_menace, in your post on the “Limbaugh thread” further down, you stated:
““I’m a self-hating white.”
Don’t worry Al.
I hate you too. Because you are white. ”
I don’t know if that was tongue in cheek on your part or sincere. If the latter, it could explain why you like open borders!

Hugh
They could probably write a book on the whole “self hate” thing. And if enough people have it, it can result in war and DICTATORSHIP!!!

“can help you get your brain functioning again”
I’ll take all the help I can get.
As for my response to Al. He knows I’m kidding. I like Al because he asks questions that are uncomfortable questions to ask.

Constitution is clear, no one, but Congress can declare war, so if they wouldn’t then demonstrate moral leadership, then do you think they will now when they can still effect a positive outcome? Even if they suddenly grew some brass ones, then how are they going to explain themselves for other transgressions? Remember Newt?

Hugh, why don’t you calm down…
I like Ron Paul - - - I like his politics. The one thing I’d steer from him because of, is that he doesn’t get the emergency situation facing us by the threat of global warming.
That said…it’s nice to read about a true libertarian once in a while, regardless of what party they’re from!

Al,
I can’t calm down. I’m too concerned about our future. Real glad you like Ron Paul!
