Rocky rips Bush at “impeachment” rally

Do you think the Democrats will try to impeach President Bush? Do they have any grounds and if so what are they?

OLYMPIA, Wash. – Dubbing himself a “proud patriot,” Salt Lake City Mayor Rocky Anderson took his by now well-known and well-honed Bush-bashing rhetoric to the other Washington – as in state – Thursday, accusing the president of undermining the Constitution, violating international law and leading an “outrageous, tragic war of aggression.”

Anderson – who made headlines previously with fiery protest speeches against the commander in chief in the nation’s and Utah’s capital – was a featured speaker twice at an “impeach-Bush” rally at the Washington State Capitol in Olympia

Is this the same Washington state that called all NASCAR fans Jack Daniels guzzling rednecks and was afraid that a NASCAR track would lead to neighborhoods that would have junk cars in their lawns?
Is this the same Salt Lake City that has problems with illegal aliens killing their citizens? The same SLC that recently had a Muslim go on a shooting spree killing innocent people in his personal jihad?Seems like the people of SLC need to reel this man back to reality and take care of them first.

While I do agree with Mike’s comments above re the louses in Salt Lake City, I also note the first ground for impeachment, per the Constitution, is “Treason”. And is not clearly Bush a TRAITOR?

He is a traitor for aiding and abetting the invasion of the United States of America. Also giving aid and comfort to the invaders. That’s only two of many probable charges of treason.

  3. Hugh says:

And to my point, if the Republicans were loyal to this nation, they would be first in line to impeach Bush. They are all TRAITORS! They don’t give a damn about this nation. And frankly, I don’t understand the way John has phrased his question. John, why aren’t you asking if there are any Americans loyal to this nation who will stand up to their oath to the Constitution. John, why do you keep playing these “party” games?

  4. Mike says:

Hugh the problem with impeaching Bush and Cheney is that Pelosi would be President. I would rather see Snidley Whiplash President. If that was to happen I would have to illegally migrate to Mexico.

  5. Hugh says:

Well then Mike, we impeach Pelosi, and then the next Traitor and the next. And after impeachment, we try them for Treason, legally and lawfully. Mike, perhaps our courts of law will indeed find Treason and sentence the Traitors to hang. Mike, how many of the Traitors have to hang before the rest understand they better be loyal to the nation? Hell, I bet one or two are hung, legally and lawfully and the rest will understand!

  6. David O'Rear says:

Are there grounds for impeachment? Tough call.

There are still six of the 10 Bill of Rights Amendments left to violate.

    Let’s not jump the gun!

  7. John – if Sly is on board, I’m likely to quit paying attention to politics altogether.

FINALLY someone I can rely on takes the reins…my work here is done.

  8. Bill says:

I’m a Southerner but I take no offense to the NASCAR comment. Mike, Salt Lake City is one of the Nicest places in the country. And I’m all for impeaching Bush. The more cretans we get outta there the better. And you can already see the panic in Pelosi’s eyes. Because it’s not part of the plan for her to be Prez. Hugh is right. If we get the freedom and justice thing going they’re all gonna be scared and will think twice before commiting acts of treachery!!!
