The truth is you guys are very naive about the issue. We do have a risk the debate is how to solve the problem. Democracy is not sprinkle dust that will bring people to the twenty first century.

John, why do you think it’s up to us to tell anyone anywhere what to do, what to worship or what to buy?
Islam is a religion. Are we at war with a religion? Is that what you’re trying to insinuate?
So then what? I suppose we let the time pass by swapping these stories of how the Muslims are coming any day now, and when they don’t, we can argue over who is blind and who needs to mind their own business. At the end of the day we’re still in the same spot.
If anything we’re more fu*ked at the end of that day than any day two years before, since we insist on torturing and killing Muslims forever if that’s what it takes.
It’s not like there will be more of them if we keep doing it this way…right? Or maybe we get smart and stop killing and torturing Muslims. Then what?
Have you got any ideas?
I don’t fear a Muslim taking my life. And since the FBI has been locking them up even when they’re innocent, it’s probably going to be a while before I’d have to start fearing such a thing.
As of right now, I think it’s typical of why we’re in such bad shape as we are in this country, to witness inflation, the total waste that is Iraq, deteriorating schools, deteriorating bridges and leavies, the state of the constitution…and on a serious political forum, here we are dancing around the idea of needing to go to war against a religion.
How about we focus less on plots from 24 and more on the real issues effecting peoples’ lives today?
Or are you going to be posting regular videos of people who were molested by a priest growing up, and more videos on fundamentalist Mormons marrying 15 year olds…what’s the use? Religious people are what they are. Most manage to integrate their faith in a way that makes them better people, but some use it to justify horrible things.
When has this ever not been the case? What was it about developed societies that prevented the religious crazies from taking over? I bet you it wasn’t about bombs, bayonets or rifles. Probably more to do with opportunity and a lack of desperation amongst the people.
The point is not the religion. The problem is the struggle for the Middle East to become part of the twenty first century. Watch the video.
My kids busted the last set of speakers I had for the computer, so I’m unable to hear anything until a new set arrives in the mail.
Screw whatever struggle the Middle East is going through. They need to learn on their own that killing your fellow man is wrong. They won’t take our word for it…in fact, we need plenty of remedial training ourselves!
Israel certainly hasn’t learned that lesson.
It’s time we minded our own business for a generation or two. Get back to focusing on job creation and making sure the economy is working for everyone. I’m fed up with this armchair anthropologist bullsh*t.

There are no secrets about Christianity or Judaism. One only has to read the Bible. If you would read Quran you would know that islam isn’t a religion of peace. You must convert or you must die.
