Why Bush Likes No Child Left Behind?

Neil Bush’s firm under federal scrutiny

HC-The inspector general of the Education Department says he will review whether federal money is inappropriately being spent on education programs by a company founded by Neil Bush, the president’s brother.

Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, a Washington-based watchdog group, called for the inquiry and released a letter this week from the inspector general, John Higgins Jr.

In it, Higgins said he would ask an assistant inspector general to look into the group’s complaint.

CREW contends school districts are inappropriately using federal money for Ignite! programs. The group argues there is no proof the company’s products are effective and claims the schools are using the products due to political considerations.

Ignite! sells a product it refers to as a Curriculum on Wheels, which comes with software to teach math, social studies and science and costs about $3,800 each, not including maintenance costs, according to CREW.

A telephone call to Ignite! Learning, which has a mailing address in Austin, Texas, was not immediately returned. In a previous statement posted on the company Web site, Ignite! Learning stated that it had no control over how school districts choose to spend federal funds. Neil Bush founded the company about a decade ago.

Ignite! = chronyism. It’s like the no-bid contract for education. When I was a kid we read from “Fun With Dick and Jane” and the books were probably 40 years old and had burn marks on them from a fire at the school. But hey they worked.

Here’s a little “re-edit” from the cliff notes of the theatrical version:

Ignite! is popular in Saudi Arabia too… I wonder why????

Could it be because they go so well with the Jihad books sent to rile up the school kids to hate the Soviets so long ago – BY HW DADDY while proxying using Afghans to battle?? Books – that today – have become anti-American perverted Muslim propaganda? Those would be the ones!

NCLB is a way to privatize the schools. Make them private but FOR profit “public” schools paid for with OUR tax dollars. Thomas Jefferson must be so proud of Lil’ George.

You want to get the Republicans – here is how:

Now came an argument among them as to which of them would be the greatest in the coming Kingdom. But Jesus knew their thoughts, so he stood a little child beside him and said to them, “Anyone who takes care of a little child like this is caring for me! And whoever cares for Me is caring for the God who sent me. Your care for others is the measure of your greatness.” Luke 9: 46-48.

This verse had to have been what inspired a “man of God” of President Bush’s caliber to sign “No Child Left Behind.”

See what NCLB and the Burning in Hell Bush’s are up to in New Orleans. Good ol’ Barbara senior – she donated money to help “these people,” but only letting it be allocated to a certain company called – you guessed it – Ignite! Education…
